Celestial Navigator is a must-have application for sailors and anyone else interested in astronomical navigation.
It features a set up and merger calculator, a position line and compass error including a gyro calculator, a celestial correction calculator (with auto mount and dead reckoning), a sun almanac, the moon, the planets and 58 stars.It navigation supports the three most widely used navigation methods for calculating position lines ie interception, stopwatch and latitude by meridian height.
The accuracy of the results posted has been thoroughly tested with the US Navy website, the 2013 results nautical almanac are with in 10-15 seconds, which is accurate enough for the sea.
