Zold:out is a tactical role-playing game with deck-building elements and a turn-based component. In a gridless battleground, you have to use many weapons in a single turn to face tough enemies. Players have access to a huge range of weapon cards, each with their own special ability, and they can use these cards to create their custom decks. Each card has the potential to be used in conjunction with a different character, opening up a huge range of tactical options and game plans. As players progress through levels in the game, they can create additional weapon cards and continue to tweak their decks to find the optimal mix of cards and characters to win the game. Integrating deck building into the action provides an added dimension of depth and customization, allowing players to truly make the game their own.
